The sky was alive last night as I left Wal-Mart pushing my cart to the car. From something as mundane as grocery shopping, I looked up and saw something ethereal and lovely. The last evening light played hide and seek in the clouds while patches of blue sky peered shyly at the Earth below. The symphony they created together was breath-taking.
I was reminded that even here, in the perpetual gray of the PNW, winter is not without beauty.
